SAM, Street Art Museum, è stato un progetto artistico di riqualificazione urbana realizzato nel 2012 presso l'ex zoo comunale, all’interno del Parco Michelotti, curato dall'associazione culturale Border Gate. Le opere, realizzate da oltre 60 artisti italiani e stranieri, hanno lasciato la loro traccia sui muri degli edifici fatiscenti, un tempo adibiti a ospitare gli animali in gabbia, immersi nel verde del parco, con tematiche ispirate al mondo animale e alla natura circostante. L'ex-zoo era stato ridenominato per l'occasione Borderland.

Molte delle opere qui rappresentate non sono più visibili o sono deteriorate. Alcune saranno restaurate e in occasione della riapertura del parco pubblico nel 2022 sono stati realizzati dei nuovi interventi. 

SAM, Street Art Museum, was an urban redevelopment artistic project carried out in 2012 at the former municipal zoo, inside the Michelotti Park, curated by the Border Gate cultural association. The works, created by over 60 Italian and foreign artists, have left their traces on the walls of dilapidated buildings, once used to house animals in cages, immersed in the greenery of the park, with themes inspired by the animal world and the surrounding nature. The former zoo had been renamed Borderland for the occasion.
Many of the works represented here are no longer visible or have deteriorated. Some will be restored and during the reopening of the public park in 2022, will be done some new artworks.
